Hi everyone!

I haven’t blogged for AGES! Ihave no excuse either, I’m just being lazy.

I have not weighed myself for a few weeks, I have kind of forgotten about it. This is probably bad news as I should be taking extra care with my weight at the moment.

I am now 26 weeks pregnant, only (ONLY!)  14 weeks to go.  So 14 weeks until Christmas! Yay I love Christmas!

Food wise, I have not been eating particularly well, ‘normal’ food as some would call it. I have indulged in sweets, chocolate and bread and pasta.

Poo. I did buy some gluten free bread the other day tho!

lately, I cant be bothered to cook, or it might just be this week I’m feeling lazy.

My sister had her baby last Thursday, Alice, who weighed 9 lbs! She is massive and fills her 0-3 months sleepsuit already. My other sister is due in about 6 weeks, she lives in Qatar so I hope the healthcare is good over there! I’m sure it is. 

 College has started again and they have changed the nights to Wednesdays and Thursdays, 17.30-20.30. Dont’ even get me started on the times haha!! At least I get there late and then we finish early, it was horrible finishing at 9pm last term.

So glad this is my last year of AAT. I have one module, one project and 2 re takes to do. I may try to get it all done by December so I can relax and never think about college again once I’ve had the baby.

Health wise I feel fine, my back isn’t as weak feeling (was hard to get up and first few steps was walking like an old lady) andI don’t have pains when I turn over in bed anymore. I don’t feel sick too often either. This is my second trimester though and its supposed to be the best of all three. Will be entering my 3rd soon so I’m sure the gripes will start all over again lol! Ahh the joys of being up the duff!!

Work is draining, but I am being rather lazy lately haah!!

I found out I won’t be doing my job when I come back after maternity leave which is annoying. It means I wont be able to do what I want lol. But you never know whats going to happen. Its over a year away. I am the best at my job so maybe they will want me to do it but we shall see.

 House wise – we still have to finish the kitchen and soon we will get our spare rooms plastered so we can get cracking on those.

Things take sooo long! James is great though and has done so much.

Well thats all I have for now, I’ll weigh myself and let you know tomorrow – make you all feel better about yourselves lol.

Dream a little dream……

Good morning, it’s nice and sunny today and was so light this morning!  I had to keep checking the clock to make sure I hadn’t misread the time.

My weight has dropped again, from 154.4 yesterday to 152.8 so I am chuffed with that. When I got home I made two rolls for dinner (gluten free!) and I don’t buy them often but since I had college I didn’t really have time for anything else.

This morning I made scrambled egg for breakfast, I have yoghurt and berries for later and almond muffins with light cream cheese for lunch, and of course the obligatory chunk of cheese. I am obsessed with cheese. Did you notice? haha.

My skin is feeling a little itchy today, and of course I have run out of allergy tablets. My face has a few red blotches hidden under my make up, likely coming through after lasts weeks terrible diet. I still drink a small glass of cranberry juice every morning to keep certain annoying things at bay. It has worked so far!

College again tonight and then next week is half term – yay! I have an exam the week after so must get some studying in. I started looking into what I would like to do when I have finished this course, and have come to a bit of a halt. A lot of progression courses like ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) you need 3 years experience. 3 years! No one will give me a job now with no experience and soon I’ll be qualified to Level 4 of AAT.  😦

Did I mention I passed my Business Tax exam? Only 6 out of 13 in my class passed. Soooo happy!!!!!

Moan moan moan hahaah!!!

I am pleased with my weight loss though, my mini goal was to get to 10.13 (stones & pounds – sorry if I confuse you all with my many different weight measures) and I’ve already reached it!

I was supposed to be going out with some friends for drinks on Saturday but I’m pretty skint, not into drinking at the moment and need to paint the living room this weekend, so I have cancelled. I’m turning into an old woman!

Listen to this strange story, last night I was having the most awful dream that James was leaving me for another woman and I had to move out.

 My cat was in our room last night and as usual about 5.30 am starts licking my hair and staring at me (freak!) so I woke up. I was so glad it was a dream! James then woke up and I told him what happened, and he said ‘ I just had exactly the same dream, that you were leaving me for another man’.

I tried to press him for more details incase it was ‘exactly’ the same but he couldn’t remember.

Weird or what??

Nearly Valentines Day, what’s everyone doing? We are either going to get an indian takeaway (no naan for me) or go to  Toby Carvery – they sell roast dinners so as long as I don’t have the yorkshire pudding or gravy I should be ok.

Hello,

My weight is the same again. Strange, that’s three days in a row of 10.10, 68.0 & 150.0. Well on the bright side, it hasn’t gone up, though I did think it would go down. I have been good so far this week (ahem – apart from the left over mince pies I made). I feel like I’m in ketosis as my mouth tastes like crap!

I’m currently reading the second book of the Millennium series, ‘The girl who played with fire’. They are SOOOo good I can hardly put them down. Anyone else read them?

 This morning I couldn’t think of anything to make for lunch and so settled on 1.5 tablespoons of oat bran porridge for breakfast and 1.5 for lunch. Also took some slices of turkey and a bit of low fat cheese. I looked at the ingredients on the turkey and it has caramelised sugar syrup in it!! Why!!! Will have to check ingredients a little closer from now on.

I used extra fine oat bran today and it makes the best porridge! Smooth and turns into a larger quantity aswell. Yummy!

Later I have some yoghurt if I need it. Tuesday is definately my most tired day and have college again tonight. But then its thursday, then friday then yay!! Weekend again!

Can you believe I’m going to Paris next weekend? It has come around so fast. Very excited.

 It’s my niece Coco’s 2nd birthday this weekend so there will be cake and I must start mentally preparing to say no! Perhaps I will make some dukan muffins so I don’t feel left out.

A few of us love the film ‘Elf’ so we’ve decided to have an elf night with snacks and drinks.  Hmmm, will have to think about that one. I could just have none of the snacks, or make something dukan for everyone to share.

At college, our Business Tax exam is in 3 weeks and we are all nervous as feel like we have not had enough time to learn everything. We still haven’t even covered all the topics yet so we will hardly have any time to revise.  Ooh that just reminded me, I need to leave early from work today so I can catch an extra lesson at college…. yikes better go and remind my boss!!

Well, in that case, I’d better get on with my work…….

quick post……

weight: still 10.7 last 2 days

Food: ok, the usual, yoghurt, eggs, had half a dukan pizza last night and some chips (woooops!) salad etc

havent been for a run since last week, too lazy on Tuesday and was in a bad mood yesterday. I’m sure if Id gone for a run I would have cheered up. My excuse tonight is I have to go to college straight after work to enrol for AAT level 4.

Which is going to cost me an arm and a leg….

Yup, positive post!!! muah hahah!!

Day 142

Wow 142 days on Dukan! I should be at my goal weight by now, but hey nobodys perfect!

So this week I have introduced some full fat things, cheese and yoghurt mostly.

I had a little bit of butter on my veg last night (peas and carrots – I know, peas aren’t allowed on dukan!) with some pork steaks.

My weight is the same for the third day in a row! Crazy!

I started putting a sprinkle of chia seeds in my savoury dukan bread. I bought them ages ago after watching ‘fat head’ but hadn’t gotten round to using them yet.

I’ve been looking around for almond flour and things like that and it’s extortionate in this country! Well actually they don’t even sell almond flour. Just a bag of whole almonds costs like £4. I bought a teeny bag of ground almonds a while ago for £1.99. ( ok so it doesn’t sound like that much but it really was teeny!)

My giant mozzie bite is spreading. The swelling has gone down but its covering a larger area of my arm. I put some antihistamine cream on it.

Hmmm.

Well, I only have 3 exams left this year and 4 weeks of college.Can. Not. Wait. (AAT at college, year 3)

Orange Wednesdays here I come!! haha, I bet I don’t go even once! (With mobile network Orange, you can get 2 for 1 tickets at the cinema on a Wednesday)

Well, the food is the same as every day! You’re probably bored of it, luckily I’m not!!

OOh, I need to look for that new recipe for oat bran bars….only 2 left!!
