About

Hello everyone

My name is Shannon, I’m 30 years old and I’m looking forward to being thin!!

I’ve tried so many things including eating a really low calorie diet, slimming world and exercise but keep putting on more weight!!

Wish me luck on  Dukan!

I work for an American salvage company in the UK and am also studying AAT level 3 at college two evenings a week (drain!)

I live in Ramsgate in Kent and am engaged!!

Update December 2012:

So, I’m now 31 and a half,  (still engaged) and I have lost about 1.5 – 2 stone on the Dukan diet.

I keep fluctuating back and forth those few pounds when I am naughty and drink wine or eat wheat.

I have decided to kind of keep to the dukan principles but be completely wheat free. I have also introduced flaxseed into my diet to take over the oat bran for the most part. It has a lot lower carb intake.

I am planning to be low carb – high fat as much as I can, but I still want to lose a bit more weight. I think around or just under the 60kg mark would be good for me. (so 9kg’s to lose then – yikes!)  This is about 132 lbs or 9 stone 4.

I would feel much more comfortable at this weight. I have been able to stabilize my weight ok, so I need to push the exercise and stay away from the wheat to drop it.

Enjoy my blog and thanks for reading!

    Hey Shannon,
I found your blog from Sonia’s. I’m on cruise too. This is my third week on dukan and I’m stalled weight loss wise. GRRR. I love pv days but I think I’m going to try 3 days pp and see if it moves scale. Love your blog!

      Hi Anna,

I found doing a few days of ‘protein only’ helps when you’ve stalled plus drinking loads of water. Thanks for the comment and good luck!!

Hi Shannon, I just started Atkins. But Dukan is the next in my list if this doesn’t work. Just started reading your blog.
